***Update: closure in effect until April 14th***
Out of an abundance of caution, and to minimize the potential exposure of our staff and residents to COVID-19, all Township buildings and facilities will close to the public effective Tuesday, March 17.
Between now and April 6, we will continue to monitor the situation and update residents as things evolve.
We are taking all of the necessary steps to ensure the health of our community, including practicing social distancing and increasing efforts to ensure the cleanliness of Township offices
Starting Tuesday, essential staff will primarily work remotely, spending little time in the office.
During the closure, all non-essential services will be suspended. All essential services, including but not limited to fire, emergency and wastewater management will remain in operation.
If you have questions or concerns during this time, please email TempClosure@delhitownship.com. As always, call 911 for all emergencies.
Delhi Township’s closure follow’s Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declaring a state of Emergency in Michigan, closing all K-12 school buildings from March 16 – April 6, and recommendation to implement social distancing measures and cancel or postpone large gatherings.
