Vote From Home

Vote From Home

Following the passage of Proposal 3 in November of 2018, all registered and eligible Michigan voters can now request absentee ballots for all elections without providing an explanation.

“It’s now easier than ever to request a mail-in ballot and vote from home in Delhi Township,” said Evan Hope, Delhi Township Clerk. “Voting from home will eliminate waiting in line and surprises at the polls by giving you more time to research everything on the ballot in advance.”

There are three ways interested Delhi Township voters can request to be added to the township’s Automatic Application List to vote from home (Automatic Application List):

Once added to the Automatic Application List, you’ll receive a ballot application for every election. However, you must return the ballot application in order to receive your mail-in ballot.

After returning the ballot application, you will receive your mail-in ballot as soon as they are available. Mail-in ballots are processed in a way that preserves a secret ballot just like voting at the polls. All mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on election day in order to be counted. Every mail-in ballot is accounted for in the same way as ballots cast in person. Mail-in ballots are counted on Election Day.
