Please join us in congratulating Terry Powers, who was recently named the 2019 Delhi Township Employee of the Year by the Holt School-Business Alliance!
Terry got his start with the Delhi Township Department of Public Services in 1990 as a plant operator. Over the last 30 years, Terry has served in various roles. Terry currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the Buildings & Grounds department as the facilities supervisor.
Terry coordinates the maintenance and upkeep of all the facilities in our community, including buildings, parks, trails, DDA properties, school grounds, cemeteries and more. That means he is responsible for ensuring the grass is cut across the Township all summer, handling upkeep of our beautiful parks and trails, making sure the ball fields are ready, and coordinating the Township’s annual holiday decorations.
Terry is known across the Township for always going above and beyond. No matter where he is or what he’s doing, Terry is always willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure the Township’s facilities are well taken care of. In addition to consistently delivering exceptional service, Terry is always looking for ways to save time, money and resources.
This award couldn’t go to a more deserving person. We’re honored to have Terry on our team, and proud to call Terry Powers Delhi Township’s 2019 Employee of the Year!
Thanks for all you do for our community, Terry.
