Members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Township Supervisor and approved by the Township Board. One Township Trustee also serves on the Planning Commission as a liaison to the Township Board. Members serve a three year term.
Overview
The Delhi Charter Township Planning Commission is an appointed body that reviews proposed development projects, special use permits, rezoning applications, etc., and makes recommendations to the Township Board of Trustees. The Planning Commission is also responsible for final approval of, and amendments to, the Master Plan and Future Land Use Map. Delhi Township's Community Development Department provides technical staff support to the Planning Commission.
