DTFD personnel were
called to extinguish a fire in a garage that was connected to a home.
The cause of ignition was a discarded cigarette in a trash container.
On January 16, 2011, members of DTFD were
called a house fire that originated in the fireplace chimney chase.
Personnel extinguished the fire after removing siding and interior paneling from
the home.
Delhi Township personnel were called to
assist the Ingham County Hazmat team for a diesel spill in the Grand
River. A stolen vehicle had been driven down a boat ramp and
into the water, with diesel fuel spilling into the water. A
neutralizer was used to mitigate the diesel problem.
