Erosion & Sedimentation Control Program
On April 5, 2008 Delhi Township was
designated by the
Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) as a
Municipal Enforcing Agency (MEA) under
Part 91 of Public Act 451 of 1994 and the Rules Promulgated. As
an MEA, the Township is now the agency that will review applications and
provide permitting for Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control (SESC)
purposes. Prior to this date, the Ingham County Drain Commissioner’s
Office was the designated SESC agency for Delhi Township property
owners.
The Township’s administration of the
SESC program is handled by the Department of Community Development, as
authorized by Township Ordinance No. 116 (2008).A copy of the SESC Ordinance and other relevant program materials may be
