Delhi Township Government
Delhi Charter
Township is governed by the Board of Trustees. The Board of
Trustees is elected every four years at the time of the Presidential
Election. The Board consists of the
Supervisor, Clerk,
Treasurer and four Trustees. The
responsibilities of the Board include, but are not limited to the
following:

Adopting Township policies and
ordinances
-
Approving the
budget
-
Approving all expenditures over $10,000
-
Approving the hiring of certain staff
- Approving contracts
-
Serving on assigned committees
The
Supervisor,
Clerk and
Treasurer also have other statutory duties. The
Clerk and
Treasurer
positions are full time. The
Supervisor and
Trustee positions are part time.
The Delhi Township
Board of Trustees meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30
p.m. in the
Community Services Center Board Room.

The Delhi Township
Committee of the Whole meetings are held
the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. prior to the
regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meetings.
