Holt Hometown Festival - Cotton Candy Holt Hometown Festival -Rock Wall Holt Hometown Festival - Fireworks

This year marks the 9th Annual Holt Hometown Festival. The festival is run by a independent committee of volunteers and is endorsed by Delhi Charter Township.  The Delhi Downtown Development Authority gives financial support. 

The Festival will take place August 24 and 25, 2007 Friday night activities include an outdoor movie at Veterans Memorial Gardens.  Saturday activities include a parade and a car show.  Vendor booths, entertainment, kids area and other activities take place all day Saturday between Sycamore Elementary and Holt Junior High School.

Holt Hometown Festival - Outdoor Movie

A Movie in the Park! - 9:00 p.m.

A family fun movie will be shown in the amphitheatre at Veterans Memorial Gardens.

Saturday August 25, 2007 - Schedule of Events

Holt Hometown Festival - Car Show

Car Show - 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Come see a variety of classic and specialty cars beginning Saturday morning.  The cars will be on display throughout the day until 6:00 p.m.

Holt Hometown Festival - Vendor Exhibits

Vendor Exhibits - 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

A variety of vendors will have goods and information.  Goods for sale will include crafts, toys, books, food and more.  Service Clubs, Churches and other organizations will have information.  Local businesses will have information about their services.

Holt Hometown Festival - Parade

Parade - 11:00 a.m.

Watch the Holt Hometown Festival Parade which will include a variety of entries.  The parade will begin at Holt Junior High School and proceed north on Aurelius Road, East on Holt Road, South on Cedar Street, South on Hall Street, and West on Sycamore back to the Junior High School.

Holt Hometown Festival - Kids Area

Kids Area - 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m.

The Kids Area will be open from noon until 6:00 p.m.  The Kids Area includes inflatable rides, games, face painting, a rock climbing wall, clowns and more.  This year, Elephant rides will also be available until 4:00 p.m.

Holt Hometown Festival - Live Entertainment

Live Entertainment - 12:00 noon - 9:30 p.m.

Live Entertainment will take place on the stage throughout the day until the fireworks begin.  Entertainment will include bands, singers, local talent and more.

Holt Hometown Festival - Corporate Cup

Corporate Cup - 1:30 p.m.

Come and watch local businesses compete in whacky games and races.

Holt Hometown Festival - Fireworks Show

Fireworks Show - 9:30 p.m.

Watch the ever spectacular  fireworks show as the festival concludes.  The now famous fireworks show lasting over 20 minutes is sure to dazzle.
